I’ve been within a pound or two of the 70 pound milestone for WEEKS now. Plateaus really mess with your mind. So it was lovely to get on the scale this morning and see that not only did I break through my current plateau, I crushed it. 70 pounds in 5 months.

    Fantastic reinforcement in a very literal way – persistance startIng with one foot in fron of the other.

    I have gotten a little busy this past week and skipped my walks. You know all the usual excuses when at a plateau. The article came at just the right time before I was too tempted to turn in the wrong direction.

    • Thank you for reading the story and commenting here! You are not alone in a busy life = excuse to avoid exercise. I’ve had to learn to show myself grace during the busy times so I don’t beat myself up too badly and just get back to it when I can. Hope you get some good walks in this week!
